The birth house of Josip Mažuranić (the founder of Public Library and Reading Room in 1845) and Stjepan Mažuranić (teacher and collector of folk songs and anthems) . One of city's entrances, called The Small Gates, is nearby. The Small Gates are the only preserved entrance out of three that were built in the surrounding walls of the Old town. Today, the house is used to preserve an old custom – napovidanje (storytelling).
